Read moreMuch to the delight of locals and visitors alike, Pembrokeshire Fish Week is returning as a county-wide event in 2019! The festival will now be biennial, and we’re delighted that this year’s launch event will return to Milford Waterfront on Saturday 22nd June!
Milford Fish Festival will return in a slightly different format, and be in a new location on Mackerel Quay. Because of this, entry will now be free! Following feedback from previous events, making this a free event was really important to us. We’ll also be encouraging local businesses to get involved on the day, and through the whole of Fish Week week, so we can have a week-long celebration here at Milford Waterfront.
Pembrokeshire Fish Week is organised by Pembrokeshire County Council’s food development team and will run from Saturday 22nd to Sunday 30th June. The event will include hundreds of fish-themed events across the county.
Karen Lewis, Tourism Manager, commented: “We are very excited to be that this year’s Fish Week will start at Milford Waterfront. It will be slightly different to previous events, but we cannot wait to deliver a fun day for everyone. Keep an eye out for more information as we get closer to the day.”
If you have a product, business or service that has a link to the Pembrokeshire coast, the sea, fish, or locally produced food and craft, we’d love to hear from you!
