School’s out for summer!

For many, today is the last day of term, with 6 weeks to enjoy quality time with the children.

6 weeks feels like a long time, so we’ve organised plenty of free activities to keep the kids entertained all summer long.

Come along and get your face painted, get creative with pavement drawing and win treats at kids bingo.

We’ve got some great new activities too, starting with our Teddy bear meet and greets. Meet Teddy and give him a high five, a hug or take a selfie! Also, new for this summer is potion making with Câr-Y-Môr who will be popping up with their seaweed potion kitchen. And, if the kids are starting to play up, you could send them to Kids Army where they’ll be entertained by Milford Waterfront’s very own Sergeant Major!

There’s also some great free events planned for 11 – 17 year olds every Friday night as part of this year’s Under the Bridge project, courtesy of Milford Youth Matters and the Port of Milford Haven.

There’ll be photography workshops, circus equipment, DJ-ing, special effects make-up, skateboarding, graffiti, a Total Wipeout inflatable game, plus much more!

We all know that the Welsh weather can be somewhat unpredictable, but Phoenix Bowl & Pirate Pete’s Adventure Play offers hours of indoor fun, and Milford Haven Museum is a hidden gem with history dating back to the Bronze Age right through to the present day, highlighting the role that Milford Haven has to play in supporting the world’s energy demands.

On the days when the sun is shining, make the most of the weather and get out on the water with the Coast and Cleddau Crew! They run Wildlife Boat Trips around Skomer Island or up river to Lawrenny every day.
