Wooo…more great news! From today, cafés and restaurants at Milford Waterfront can welcome customers to enjoy food and drink in their outdoor dining areas, as outdoor hospitality is allowed to re-open.

Outdoor hospitality has been given the thumbs up to re-open in Wales today, meaning all of the cafés, pubs and restaurants at Milford Waterfront can welcome their customers to their outdoor spaces to enjoy their favourite food and drinks. Many of the businesses have adapted to such circumstances and are well prepared for all weather, with clever adaptations, including marquees, covered terraces and brand new outdoor dining spaces overlooking the water.

After seeing the re-opening of non-essential retail on 12th April, meaning customers could come and browse the fantastic shops at Milford Waterfront, we’re excited to also see outdoor hospitality reopen too. Hopefully we will be seeing some busy outdoor spaces this week! Throughout the lockdowns, many of the cafés and restaurants opened for takeaways and collections, allowing customers to still enjoy a wide variety of delicious eats in the comfort of their own homes, or when out enjoying the fresh sea air at Milford Waterfront. But it is so exciting to see that businesses can now welcome guests to enjoy themselves in their outdoor dining areas! Why not book yourself in before all the tables fill up?

Here are the businesses which will be welcoming guests to their outdoor dining areas. Please visit their pages or give them a call to find out their respective opening hours and to make bookings:

We’ve got lots of free parking spaces at Milford Waterfront along Mackerel Quay, underneath Victoria Bridge and on the hill behind The Harbourmaster, as well as the 3 hour car park between Martha’s Vineyard and Spinnaker Café. We do urge you to avoid the permit-only parking spaces behind and in between the shops, cafes and restaurants on Nelson Quay which are reserved for residents only.

Each business has their own safety and social distancing measures in place and we kindly ask that you respect and adhere to these for your own safety, and that of others.
We also have lots of picnic areas at Milford Waterfront if you wanted to take a walk down and soak up the sun whilst enjoying a refreshing ice cream from The Scoop Ice Cream Parlour & Coffee Shop. On a sunny day you won’t want to leave!

If you enjoy your visit to Milford Waterfront, we’d love if you could leave us a review on TripAdvisor so we know that you are leaving happy every single time.

Enjoy yourselves but stay safe!
