2. Nothing beats going for a stroll

Milford Haven is a fantastic place to explore on foot, by bike and by water.

Fantastic water views? A woodland walk? We’ve recently pulled together three of our favourite walking trails which you can explore in Milford Haven: Wander around the Waterfront, Lower Priory Woodland Walk and Scotch Bay Stroll, all of which differ in their own ways, so we hope at least one will appeal to you. If you’re feeling adventurous, why not give all 3 a go?

3. Treat yourself to an ice cream

Summer is all about getting out in the sun, having fun…and enjoying an ice cream of course!

With an ever-changing choice of delicious flavours to choose from including Biscoff, Salted Caramel, Candy Floss along with your classic favourites too, The Scoop Ice Cream Parlour & Coffee Shop are well known for making their own homemade ice cream on site at Milford Waterfront. Perfectly located next to the lock gates at Milford Marina to watch the boats go by too – bonus!

Make it an ice cream-athon! Some of the other cafes and restaurants also offer takeaway ice creams including Spinnaker Café, Crow’s Nest Cafe, Talouies, The Cheesy Cow and Sugar Loaf.

4. Cheers to a cocktail…or two

Ching ching! If you love a cocktail, this one’s for you.

Whether you prefer an Espresso Martini or a classic Mojito, there’s plenty of places to enjoy a cocktail at Milford Waterfront!

You may wish to enjoy a cocktail on the balconies of Martha’s Vineyard or The Harbourmaster, the outdoor dining tables with views of the boats at The Lounge, check out the extensive vintage cocktail menu at Madison’s Bar & Restaurant, take in the panoramic views of the Milford Haven Waterway from the terrace at Foam or to visit COCO Restaurant’s new outdoor Sunset Bar, there are plenty of places to try your favourite cocktails!

5. Pack a picnic and watch the boats sail by

If you love a picnic, pack up some sandwiches and head down to the benches at Milford Waterfront!

Overlooking the stunning Milford Haven Waterway, our popular picnic area is located on the grass area by The Scoop Ice Cream Parlour & Coffee Shop.

So, grab a picnic basket, fill it with your favourite foods and drinks, invite some friends and family, and enjoy the escape from your daily routine.

Picnics made easier? Why not pre-order a delicious platter from Sugar Loaf or a Picnic Graze Box from The Cheesy Cow who can both savour all your picnic needs?

6. Celebrate and explore our town’s history

Check out our town’s new Heritage Walking Trails! There are three heritage trails about our ‘Historic Haven’, ‘Energy Kingdom’ and ‘Water Ways’ which celebrate Milford Haven’s sense of place. Simply come down to Milford Waterfront and check them out for yourself!
