Read moreContinuing to share Milford Waterfront’s development story, we explore the newest buildings standing tall around Milford Marina; Neptune House and Temeraire House.
Neptune House and Temeraire House are the most recent buildings to have been built here at Milford Waterfront. Whilst Barrallier House and Cleddau House were built in 1907 and 1991 respectively, both Neptune House and Temeraire House were built in August 2007…100 years after Barrallier House!
Like all other buildings standing tall overlooking and surrounding Milford Marina, these buildings have been named after ships that were in Lord Nelson’s Trafalgar’s fleet. They were destined to be called Elephant House and Pickle House, but we think that Neptune and Temeraire sound much more fitting.
The businesses that operate in these buildings are mainly creative or ones that assist in the health, beauty or wellbeing of their customers, as well as providing essential services that we just couldn’t do without!
On the far end of Neptune House we’re proud to accommodate Physiofit West Wales, private physiotherapy experts that help their customers with musculoskeletal disorder, work or sport related injuries or neurological rehab. Some customers visit Physiofit after being recommended by GPs, orthopaedic consultants and medical professionals, and they also have a great working relationship with private health care providers.
Milford Haven Chiropractic & Sports Injury Clinic is just a few doors away, in Temeraire House, specialising in chiropractic techniques to help relieve pain, from single exercises to acupuncture. Pembrokeshire Sports Clinic shares the same premises, offering relief from skeletal and muscular problems that clients may be experiencing.
Making you feel and look better we have OG Barbers, Milford Waterfront’s only dedicated barbershop, and Haven Acupuncture who help customers to relax and sooth their bodies, minds and spirit…the perfect place for your wellbeing!
Spot On Dry Cleaners & Laundry have been located in Temeraire House for a number of years, and with over 30 years experience in the industry, the team can work their magic on your clothing with their professional laundry and dry cleaning service. In these busy times, their free collection and delivery service means that your clothes will be ‘Spot On’ every time.
There are a number of creative, business development and printing businesses in Neptune and Temeraire House too, and their offices certainly have a fantastic view! NexMedia offer website design and software development services, BearFourteen are on site to offer graphic design expertise, and Forrest Print can print and deliver everything from leaflets and business cards, to large scale signage! And, not forgetting St Brides Bay Print & Embroidery in the ‘Link Building’ which connects Neptune House and Temeraire House, who offer a professional printing and embroidery service, with a range of customisable items available.
And last but not least, we’re delighted to see The Scoop make their own homemade scrumptious ice cream right here at Milford Waterfront in their new Ice Creamery, in Neptune House, just next door to Keep Wales Tidy who are continuing to make Wales a better and tidier place to live.
Healthaspire and Aspire Beauty both used to be in Temeraire House too, but both have now moved to The Old Smokehouse, just down the road, so are still very much part of Milford Waterfront!
Next time you’re visiting, why not take a walk over to see just what there is to discover at Temeraire House and Neptune House.
We look forward to sharing more stories of the development of Milford Waterfront throughout 2021.
