If you’re looking to support local, there are lots of businesses that make and prepare their own products right here at Milford Waterfront.

There is a great selection of businesses here, and even better, some of these businesses make their own products right on our doorstep. So far, we have featured Trwffl and their handmade chocolates, The Scoop and their very own brand of ice cream and CUB3D’s environmentally-friendly garments. This time we’re excited to share The Fish Plaice’s story.

Located at Milford Fish Docks, The Fish Plaice pride themselves on sourcing quality, sustainably caught and fully traceable fish and are committed to keeping Milford Haven’s fishing heritage alive.

Their trawlers and local boats catch the finest fish in Welsh waters and land on Welsh shores to maximise the availability of fresh produce. The fish is then prepared and sold from the shop, and also supplied to both the retail and food services industries, so don’t be surprised to be hearing about locally-sourced fish on the special menus at some of the restaurants at Milford Waterfront!

The Fish Plaice is a must-visit for those with a love for fresh fish, you really can’t get much fresher than this. From lobster and mussels, to classic cod or lemon sole, you can choose from a wide selection of fish here.

Like Milford Marina, The Fish Plaice are also celebrating their 30th anniversary of their shop, so that’s even more of a reason to pop in and pick up some fish.
