Events return to Milford Waterfront this week

It feels like a lifetime since we last hosted an event at Milford Waterfront…or 639 days to be precise!

The last event we hosted here at Milford Waterfront was in December 2019 when Santa came to town. This week, we’re back with a bang as 2 events are taking place at Milford Waterfront.

Sunset Cinema for NHS & Care Workers

The first of two events returning is a Sunset Cinema in the open air on Wednesday 15th September.

As a thank you to those who have given so much during the Covid-19 pandemic, we and the Torch Theatre are putting on a very special Sunset Cinema screening of Mamma Mia 2: Here We Go Again especially for NHS & Care Workers and their families, free of charge!

Gates will open at 7pm with the film starting as soon as light allows. The film will be shown on Mackerel Quay, near to The Scoop Ice Cream Parlour and Coffee Shop.

So, If you’re an NHS or Care Worker, bring a chair, a blanket, weather-proof clothing and join us to watch this all-time classic in the open air!

Milford Haven Beer Festival

The second event taking place this week is the highly anticipated Milford Haven Beer Festival on Saturday 18th September.

The Milford Haven Beer Festival is traditionally one of four major annual events that the Milford Haven Round Table organise. The money raised from all events goes towards the cost of putting on the town’s Carnival, Firework Display and Santa Run. Each year, they also donate thousands of pounds to local good causes and charities.

As well as enjoying a great selection of lager, cider and ales, you can expect live music and DJs all-day-long including The Old Time Sailors to keep you entertained, and tasty food stalls to keep your hunger away.

£20 entry will get you:

• A free limited-edition glass
• A day full of entertainment
