You may not realise that we have many businesses that make their own products right here at Milford Waterfront!

There is a great selection of businesses here, and even better, some of these businesses make their own products right on our doorstep. So far in this series we have featured Trwffl, The Scoop Ice Cream Parlour & Coffee Shop, CUB3D, The Fish Plaice, and this time we’re excited to share Sugar Loaf’s production story!

Situated in the heart of Milford Waterfront, Sugar Loaf has thrived since opening on 27th November 2020. Priding themselves on their passion for artisan breads, fresh pastries, and mouth-watering cakes, Sugar Loaf offers a modern, cosy, and welcoming environment, serving the very best of rustic baked goods and homemade deli products.

The team at Sugar Loaf are on hand to provide customers with a delicious selection of sandwiches, paninis, pastries, salads and their hugely popular doughnuts, which literally sell like hot cakes! Not only can you get your fix of sweet treats such as made to order birthday cakes and delicious homemade fudge, chocolate bombs and truffles, Sugar Loaf also offer a variety of grazing platters, jams, chutneys and cheeses.

Sugar Loaf takes great pride in creating bespoke orders for customers with their personalised treat boxes and hampers which are filled with freshly baked goods from the bakery, nothing is ever too much trouble for the team and they can cater for many dietary requirements too. Sugar Loaf’s products are also delivered to many great local businesses including Bluestone, whose guests get to enjoy homemade treats from Sugar Loaf such as bespoke platters and fresh bread for their shop. Sugar Loaf also has many commercial accounts and they are proud to provide local businesses around Pembrokeshire with fresh products, including the new hotel here in Milford Haven, Tŷ Milford Waterfront.

Not only passionate about baked goods, Sugar Loaf are also passionate about the environment too, with the company sourcing supplies locally to minimise their carbon footprint and providing biodegradable packaging for all takeaway products.

Sugar Loaf’s bakehouse is home to a fantastic bakery team who prepare and bake throughout the night, so Sugar Loaf have fresh homemade produce each morning upon opening and it’s located less than a mile away on the dockside of Milford Marina.

Being located next door to their sister company, Foam, Sugar Loaf is in the perfect location to provide them with daily fresh baked goods. Extremely popular at the moment are their Afternoon Teas, which are prepared fresh by the Sugar Loaf team and then set up in Foam ready for their customers' special indulgent occasions!
