The FestiviTŷ is building at Milford Waterfront

With the opening of Tŷ Hotel Milford Waterfront just a month away, we thought it was important to take a moment to reflect on the progress with this major development from the Port of Milford Haven, in partnership with the team behind the world-renowned Celtic Manor Resort.

The Port of Milford Haven is fuelled by its vision to build the Haven’s prosperity. Investing £10m in the development of a new 100-bedroom hotel will see Milford Waterfront develop further as a destination where tourists and our local community want to eat, shop, enjoy and stay. There is already a fantastic selection of independent restaurants, shops and service businesses which guests will be able to enjoy when they visit Milford Haven, enjoying the ever changing views of Milford Marina which celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2021, right at the heart of Milford Waterfront.

For over a year, we have been capturing footage of every step of the project; from the demolition of the former ice factory to the completion of the build, and there’s still lots to add to the story. Inside and outside the hotel is a hive of activity as the opening date approaches, and we can’t wait to welcome Tŷ Hotels and dulse restaurant to the Milford Waterfront family.

Being immersed in our community, you may recognise some familiar faces from the Port of Milford Haven in our latest film which shows the journey to the completion of the build phase of the project.
