Connie & Jo was established in 2014 by Jo Llewellyn, who saw an opportunity in her love of upcycling furniture and turned this into a popular local business.
If you’ve never visited this treasure trove of bespoke furniture, home furnishings, gifts and all the kit you need to upcycle your own furniture, you’re missing out! As an official stockist of Frenchic furniture paint, you can take home colours such as ‘salt of the earth’, ‘wise old sage’ and ‘plum pudding’, along with a full range of brushes and stencils, to transform your own furniture. And, if you fancy learning from the experts, Connie & Jo also offer Frenchic paint workshops where you will learn the techniques to successfully upcycling your own furniture. The workshops are run in a relaxed and friendly environment; all you need to bring along is a piece of furniture you’d like to revamp and for a small fee, they’ll supply everything you’ll need for the transformation.
It’s not all about furniture at Connie & Jo, as passers-by will see from the inviting window displays. They stock an ever-changing range of homeware and finishing touches to complete your home, including wall clocks, ornaments, doorknobs, hooks, prints, mirrors, door knockers, soft furnishings and even vintage style ‘Milford Haven’ and ‘Pembrokeshire’ wall signs to add a local touch. Connie & Jo also have a lovely selection of gifts including ceramics, candles, mugs and prints, along with a range of gift cards to accompany the perfect gift.
As well as Frenchic paint, Connie & Jo is also an official stockist of a range of beautiful accessories from ‘Powder UK Designs’, homeware and greetings cards from ‘Wraptious’, and items from ‘Chic Antique Denmark’ who produce a beautiful range of tableware, furnishings and furniture inspired by French antique designs.
Bespoke furniture commissions are also a speciality for Connie & Jo, with a growing portfolio of pieces delivered for the National Trust, local holiday properties, pubs and restaurants. If you’ve got a piece of furniture you’ve always wanted to transform, get in touch with the local experts.
You’ll find Connie & Jo towards the bottom end of Charles Street, in the Gallery Precinct, with flat easy access from parking at the Market Square and the pay and display car park in Lower Charles Street.
