Future Developments at Milford Waterfront

The Port of Milford Haven is developing a vibrant waterfront destination to welcome the world. The Milford Waterfront development is a long-term project with the ambition to increase visitor numbers to Milford Haven, by developing a mixed-use destination and a fantastic place to live, work and spend leisure time. Working with planning consultants, Turley, the scheme received outline planning permission from Pembrokeshire County Council in November 2019.

Milford Waterfront is already a popular place to visit with a variety of shops, restaurants and things to do, as well as a calendar of events and activities. With lots of places to eat, shop and enjoy, we already attract over 100,000 visitors a year and this number is rising.

The first phases of the development have already been delivered; Costa Coffee Drive Thru officially opened on St David's Day 2019, the four Floatel Cabins received their first guests in 2019, The Shores self-catering holiday apartment opened in 2020 and the newly-constructed Tŷ Hotel Milford Waterfront opened in April 2022.

We’re working hard creating a fantastic visitor experience at Milford Waterfront, and future plans include improved parking, event spaces and installations which celebrate Milford Haven’s unique sense of place.
